The Association of the United States Army (AUSA) is a private, non-profit educational organization that supports America’s Army – Active, National Guard, Reserve, Civilians, Retirees, Government Civilians, Wounded Warriors, Veterans, and family members. AUSA provides numerous Professional Development Opportunities at a variety of events both local and national. The local William Penn Chapter routinely collaborates with the West Point Society of Philadelphia on events such as the annual Stripes and Stars Festival, celebrating the Army Birthday and Flag Day.
Greater Philadelphia Veterans Network (GPVN) is a non-profit organization whose primary mission is three-fold: To assist our veterans, national guard and reservists to find work through career service, programs / initiatives, mentorships, networking and job leads; To educate employers in the greater Philadelphia area on how to hire our local veterans (Learn, Engage and Hire); To offer veteran professional leadership and veteran entrepreneurship programs.
The Veterans Multi-Service Centers (formerly the Philadelphia Veterans Multi-Service and Education Center or PVMSEC) provides coordinated and comprehensive services to military veterans, by eliminating barriers for successful transition and addressing needs for independent reintegration into their community.
VALOR Clinic Foundation will provide nationwide integrated medical care and shelter to Veterans with limited or no access to care and provide shelter to Veterans who, due to health or means, are unable to find or keep shelter of their own. VALOR Clinic Foundation will improve the lives of our nations Veterans.
The Philadelphia Veterans House (PVH) provides a disciplined, supportive, military environment for veterans currently struggling with homelessness in the Philadelphia community. PVH is a short-term transitional housing program that offers a safe, structured place to call home while waiting for long-term housing.
